Move on up from here. Stop looking back, and move on.

My life up to date-ish...in short
So St. Eds has three new dorms and two brand spankin' new cafeteria underneath them.
Freshman 15 anyone?
The kids who live here are gunna gain a lot~~~~but hey, they're frikkin lucky!!! When I lived in East it took like 5 mins (depending on how slow you walk up the hill) to get to Rags! >(! And the food wasn't really that great either....saaad face. I actually do like the new cafeteria better.
Chillin' before Japanese class...wow...I really like how the table is reflective...and dusty (I drew :D!)
It's been frikkin' windy these days...Lillian's freakishly long hair was attacking everything! First it was me...then her friend Natalie :(!Tee hee...I went to their class for and drew before the teacher came :D

Recently I've been joining Kathleen and Leslie out for nights at the cafe. Either that or just roam around St. Eds campus...raping people and vandalizing.
I mean... >_>!
WE WEREN'T VANDALIZING!!! :OSwing swing...
WEEE~!!!

Right before Spring Break was let out...They played Labyrinth (feat. David Bowie) on the lawn.
OMG I forgot how great and cheezy that movie was. David Bowie was pretty sexy with his eye stabbing CROTCH of doom. Ahhhhh watching it on the big screen made it worrrrrse!!!!
(>_<)!!!

Just before Spring Break...I met up with Kelsey again!
I took her to Yogurt Planet and we also walked around at the Triangle...
Damn...those fuckin' lofts are niiiiice.....$1200 & up a month though?
Ouch.
I also saw Watchmen at the Metropolitan.
That theatre is like Austin's version of the Palladium
Both nice and fancy...$$$$$$$ :(!
Watchmen was a great movie. The visuals were stunning...but Dr. Manhattan's....uhm...blue glowing...naked body was just EVERYWHERE. And WOW! The sex scene in Archie (ship)...softcore, much??? :O! Wowweee!
But I have to admit...it was pretty funny seeing families leave because of all the violence. It's rated R, stooge. Leave your children at home. This is NOT a movie they should be seeing...says the one who saw "Shakespeare in Love" and "Titanic" in 4th or 5th grade. XD!!

Okay okay...talking about being in San Antonio now! ...I've been...clubbing at the Bonham. It's soooo flamboyant, but the music is awesome :D! The first time I went was for Kicchan's Birthday.
(hehehe~ he had a staulker...
when we went again the 2nd time
...he was there! XD)
Happy (belated) Birthday!!! Hurrah!!!

Latest club adventure Trekkie and Judy came! We met up with Juliette and Jezz...Vanessa was SUPPOSED to come...but her mother took her phone. So she says....(j/k). >_>
VANESSA WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER MY CALLS?!?!?!
I'm breaking up with you!!!!
Alas...I didn't left my camera and glasses in Austin during Spring Break...so no pictures for the recent club adventure...or for the week....ahhhhhhhhhh I heard my camera crying for me all week!
I'm sorry! ;A;!!!!

Well...during Spring Break
I've been cheating on it though...
with
MANDY'S CAMERA!
o_o
Hey...I had to, how could I have missed the opportunity in taking pictures in NYC and Philly?
I would've died.
btw, here are the albums :)
Philly, PA
NYC I
NYC II
NYC III
NYC IV
I must say, my favorite part of the trip was going to Chinatown...haggling is fun! Or atleast playing the "cute" card and being all "Mmm~I dunno~I DO liiiike it~" causing them to lower the price.
Tee hee!
Hitting up the Japanese restaurants was awesome. I truly found heaven when I went to Kinokuniya.
OMG....so expensive, but what isn't? It's in NYC for chrissake!

Avenue Q was also a spectacle to see. Hahah Puppet sex.

San Antonio...my last bit of Spring Break...was great :)
The weather was beautiful. In the 70's not that cold, warm, and sunny.
Friday: I hung out with Vanessa and Judy at Kate's Frosting before I went to work.
Afterwards, I met up with Kicchan. Introduced him to Vanessa and my favorite thing to do...
HAPPY MEAL RUN
Ohhh McDonalds, how you makes those little meals happy with a toy and sprinkle of nostalgia~!
Saturday: I saw "I Love You, Man" with Judy, Jenny, and Trekkie. OMG that movie was soooo awkward and hilarious! Some parts were even hard to watch due to how TRUE and Awkward it was.
Lol I especially liked Doug the gay guy. "It was a taste of betrayal, you fucking whore!"
This genre of Bro-mance is great.

Sunday: JapaNoodle....oh w/e, I'm going to keep calling it Japan Nite. Just because I'm "old school" like that. Birthday Suits, quaff, The Emeralds, and Peelander-Z were playing. Sorry guys, there weren't any chick bands playing. Those are the ones that make the night all cutesy.
As usual, soooo many otakus and weeaboos. All mostly from SAC or are customers of the store.
OMG omg omg seriously though, there was even a guy that had tried to pick me up at the store!
He was there! Eeeee~! I was like "oh dear, uhm....invisiblilty cloak!" I mean c'mon, I was a total jerk to him.

(Me registering him up)
Him:
Uhm....are these good? (referring to the an pan)
Me:
(stares at him dully....looks at Mari)
Mari:
Uhm, yah! They're really good actually :)
Him:
Oh....are they sweet? (looking at me)
Me:
(stares at him dully...looks at Mari)
Mari:
Ah-Uhm, yeah! They're sweet with the sweet red bean paste in the middle.
Him:
Oh.....ok.
Me:
Your total is ______, thank you very much and have a nice day.

...wha? I was tired! And Mari and I were going to change shifts soon! Ahhh but I'm going to kill Mari and Lori. After the guy left, Mari and Lori were laughing.
Lori:
"Are these sweet?....like you????

Anywaaaaays, quaff was awesome! Makito (the guitarist with crazy red hair) remembered me from the last time they came (during the fall)!!! *0*!!!! Ohhhhh happy face! He was the one who remembered me from MySpace first when I asked him for an autograph. The other bandmates didn't remember me...sad face, but hey? I don't blame them. They ARE a band that tours a lot.
I'm just glad that my sisters, their friends, and Kicchan liked them.
Personally, I like them because of their clash of Japanese folk music with rock. the Fue sounds so pretty~~~~!

All in all....my Spring Break was pretty damn good. My life is starting to brighten up again :)
Soon Summer will be here. I can't wait to move out of here! Hope it's all for the best.

ECAASU 2009
Man, that was a break that I needed indeed!

ECAASU 2009 was fun :)
Although it was a bit unorganized...and there were some issues on registration (I better get my $75 back!), the whole feeling of it was fun. This year it was at Rutgers, and it seemed like they were on a bit of a tight budget...seeing as how the shirts were rather plain and there were a lot of repeats...oh well....the atmosphere was at least better than the one at Cornell.
All aboard~! Ah...but MAN, I was so scared cause Connie made it like at the VERY LAST SECOND on the flight...that girl is going to give me a heart attack!
I love airports...the structures are always somewhat unique.
Here's the windows of the Newark airport
We WERE going to take the taxi to New Brunswick...but holy hell it was $60...so we took the Air Transit....which was $12
yeah.....we were a bit tired
After the Air Transit...went on the train~!
When we got to the Train Station...we had to look for our hotel.
Good thing it was like down the street.
Rutgers in New Brunswick!....a place where there is basically NOTHING to do... -_-
We had issues with our hotel and registration....they claimed that Jarrett's card was declined and that he didn't pay for Connie. We had to call Erica....and as for registration...I paid for Connie....Rutger's ECAASU staff STILL hasn't sent me back the reciept to get reimbursed...
FUCKING SHIT! I want my $75!
After our hotel and registration was situated...we walked around thinking that there'll be some cool shops...well....no. There were none.
lol, but they had Chinese Laundry!

ECAASU begins...
Opening ceremony...+ entertainment
Danny Cho was the speaker/host...he was pretty hilarious XD!

Entertainment consisted of student dance groups...
a lot of frats and sororities did some step dancing
The South Asian troupes were awesome...I'm sorry but they were far more interesting :P
Johnny Phlo was also there, his Korean rap was intense! o_O

Afterwards....we basically chilled in the room...I even got bold as to wanting to curl my hair!
I asked Connie...and well....lets just say since my hair was in a ponytail throughout the whole day it was deformed...so she tried working with it....needless to say:
it didn't work. :(!!!!

ECAASU 2008 was organized and seemed like it had a lot more....but it seemed pretty up
-tight. Not to mention I was with two people who were in a fight between each other... X_X
Being the gopher sucks~~~~!
But this year I went with Jason and Connie, and we at least stuck together. They were awesome :)!

We even went to NYC before the Saturday workshops and mixers. Ah~~ I can't wait to go back to NYC for spring break!!! ♥♥♥

...hudson?
Empire state building!!!

OMG! Just like in the movies~~~!!!
lol...it was funny, I overheard some other tourists talking about the taxis...and what made me smile the most about their conversation was that:
They were talking about the Cash Cab XD!
I was so thinking the same~ tourists. Psh. :P
My God, this MAC model scared the bejezuz out of me! But damn he was awesome
...and gay in a sexy matter. I mean, what?
Yeah!
Although riding the trains and such are fun...the conductors can be such assholes. Everyone there is so fast paced that they get impatient so easily. We tried asking this one conductor where our train was and he just pushed us away saying go check the monitors. We checked....didn't understand...so we ask the info ppl...they told the same thing. Frustrating as hell, considering our train that we needed was departing in 3 minutes...
FINALLY, Jason asked someone USEFUL and she told us what track we needed to be on.
Now...was that so FUCKING HARD?!?
We barely (hardly) made it to our mixers...I know they didn't make it, but the mixer group I belonged was still going at it...I saw Melissa, Denise, and Kell again though :)!

I stayed in the same room for the workshop....omg, good choice on my behalf.
See the 2nd guy to the right? THAT'S PARRY SHEN!!! From Better Luck Tomorrow! Holy Shit!
They were talking about their project Secret Identities which is an anthology of comics with Asian Americans as the hero/protagonist. I got it preordered...and autographs...teehee :D

After the workshops...we went to the dinner banquet
It was organized to meet people...we were sitting with people from NYU and Syracruse College.
Then comes the closing ceremony + entertainment...couldn't take pictures but the poetry slam for the entertainment was pretty awesome in an inspirational way.

After ECAASU, I went to a Frat Party with Connie.
(btw, Jose if you're reading this: I went to the Villanova room first then to the Frat Party
That's how I met some of the ASA members! :D!)

Frat parties......are random, indeed! The location was in the Lamda frat's basement. The ratio was 4 girls 1 guy, but towards the end it was whatever. There were even times when we all had to be quiet because the cops were patrolling the neighborhood. Hahha....weird.

I had some drinks, but man am I thankful for Connie and this guy I met at the party.
Although a lot of guys were hounding for her, this guy protected me throughout the whole night :)
Tee hee~ ♥
I hope I see him again some day. If not, then well...c'est la vie.
Thank you for the great memory!

Seriously...I needed some feeling of support rather than from my family. I have friends, but they're busy and have their own drama. I don't want to talk their ears off and such. I want to help them as they have always helped me. Thank you guys! ♥♥♥♥♥

But this feeling of happiness and enjoyment didn't last so long...I mean, greatful that Leslie picked me up...but reality was waiting for me at my apt :\
But of course I did screw up and let the highschool version of me get out and write stuff out of anger (it felt good at the time!)

Luckily...support from my family and friends are in reach :)
Thank you Leslie! And special thanks to my sisters + Mandy, lol

Right now...I'm just going to go through this last week before Spring Break...I'll update more for the recent days. Hey, there's atleast pictures in this entry. BE HAPPY!
